The Contest presents real opportunities for talented novice designers to promote their careers in the highly competitive and intense world of international fashion. The International jury board will conduct one-to-one interviews with every contestant, providing them invaluable advice and comments to further progress their creativity and professionalism.

The final event of the Contest will be held in form of catwalk show. The contestants will demonstrate 5 complete looks of their recent collection.

The winner of IYDC, chosen by the internationally recognized fashion experts of Jury board, will be awarded with the grand prize of $10 000, which includes a grant for a summer course at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design and money for the winner’s fashion design brand development.

The organizing committee of IYDC and co-organizers, the leading fashion organizations in their countries, truly believe that talented youth should act as ambassadors of friendship and mutual understanding between countries, similar to the contemporary world where we strive to build tolerance, respect to diversity of cultures and creative dialogue.
