SEBASTIAN GASIENICA- LUSZCZEK
Finalist of 9th edition of Fashion Designer Awards, Warsaw
For me fashion is more than just clothing, fashion is the medium to speak about issues in society, to synthesize social pain points, to educate and to foster respect for each other and for those who are different. Feminism, homophobia, racism, xenophobia are some of the topics that have a big impact on what I do. My biggest dream is to create my own brand that will stand for human rights in many different aspects and supports non-pro t organizations as part of its brand philosophy. Representing my country on the international stage is a huge responsibility for me. By presenting my talent here I want to let the world know not only about myself, but also to bring attention to Poland, as the country where there are many talented young designers still waiting to be discovered and to be given a chance to show their talents to the world. I expect that social and environmental responsibility pared with innovative technologies will drive the fashion industry towards a sustainable future. And I would like to be a part of this movement.
